[Remote] Manager, Revenue Accounting

They are seeking a Manager of Revenue Accounting to manage revenue accounting processes, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and support financial statement preparation.ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end revenue accounting processes, including review, reconciliation, and reporting of advisory, and professional servicesEnsure revenue recognition complies with U.S. GAAP, firm policies, and regulatory requirements applicable to wealth advisory firmsPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue-related journal entries and account reconciliationsPartner closely with operations, billing, compliance, and client advisor teams to ensure accurate fee calculation and recordingWork closely and develop processes with our client transitions and FP&A teams on the revenue impact of net new businessOversee and validate calculations tied to revenue, including compensation relatedServe as the primary revenue subject matter expert during internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules, walkthroughs, and audit supportIdentify, document, and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls over revenue calculationsAnalyze revenue trends and variances, providing clear explanations to senior leadershipSupport financial statement preparation and related disclosures involving revenue and receivablesSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-track preferred)Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, including revenue accounting and audit exposurePrior experience in public accounting, external audit, or internal audit strongly preferredSolid understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and audit readinessDemonstrated high attention to detail and accuracy, especially in complex or high-volume data environmentsStrong analytical, documentation, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independentlyProficient in accounting systems and advanced Excel skillsExperience within a wealth management, investment advisory, financial services, or professional services firmExperience working in an operating company under PE ownershipFamiliarity with advisory fee structures, AUM-based billing, and revenue-related compliance considerationsExperience supporting SEC or AICPA auditsExperience with Netsuite and / or BlacklineBenefitsComprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverageFlexible spending optionsFlexible PTOLife insuranceEducation supportA 401(k) planParental leaveDiscretionary bonus awardCompany OverviewPathstone is a financial service company that provides oriented impact investment solutions inclusive of measurement and reporting tools.
