[Remote] Manager, Product Marketing - Math

The Math Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing an annual marketing plan and go-to-market strategy for select adoption states, while providing sales support for open territory states. This role requires a deep understanding of the K–12 market to effectively communicate product features and grow market share for existing math programs.ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute an annual marketing plan and quarterly tactical plans for designated Tier 1 and 2 adoption states, creating collateral and messaging that aligns with the national plan, including customization as needed for the state marketDevelop messaging framework for consistent product positioning and messaging that differentiates Great Minds and can be leveraged by all customer-facing teamsCreate marketing strategies based on audience insights garnered through research and close work with both the math product team and the sales teamEnsure messaging consistency across all customer-facing materials communicationsWork with the National Campaigns team and Regional Marketing Managers on integrated campaigns to support growthBuild and nurture strong relationships by working collaboratively with the math product team, content and editorial team, and other marketing team membersPartner closely with the Product Managers for math to communicate new product features and benefits to sales and works closely with sales to develop training, resources and tools that support sellingWork with the marketing events team and math product team to position Great Minds as a leader in creating math curriculum at national, regional, and state-level conferencesStrategize and work with design and web marketing teams to deliver compelling customer-facing marketing presentations, web pages, and collateralAlign campaigns to top, middle, or bottom of the sales funnel, considering influencers, decision-makers, and current customers in messagingWork with the digital marketing team on content for organic and paid social placementsParticipate in market research projects to understand the national or state-level math curriculum landscapeAnalyze industry trends and customer insights to inform product positioning and marketing strategiesSynthesize research to influence the product roadmapSkills5+ years of experience in developing and executing of innovative strategic marketing plans for the K–12 education market with experience specifically marketing math curriculum and at least 1 year of managing a high performing teamExperience launching new products in the education market and with state and district curriculum adoptionsWorking knowledge and experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, etc)Proven experience working across an organization and within functional teams to achieve shared objectivesComfortable asking questions to deepen understanding of education products and pedagogical shiftsStrong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex information both verbally and in writingAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience managing relationships and priorities with multiple stakeholdersAbility to navigate between strategic projects and tactical activitiesBachelor's DegreeCompany OverviewA group of education leaders founded the non-profit Great Minds in 2007 to define and encourage content-rich comprehensive education.
