[Remote] Manager, Platform Engineering and FinOps

Navitus Health Solutions is committed to making medications more affordable and is seeking a Platform Engineering and FinOps Manager to lead a team focused on secure and cost-effective software delivery platforms. The role involves overseeing platform engineering functions and managing cloud financial operations while collaborating closely with the Infrastructure and Cloud Operations team.ResponsibilitiesLead platform engineering efforts including CI/CD pipeline management, developer enablement tooling, and internal developer platform (IDP) initiativesOversee the integration and maintenance of tools such as Azure DevOps, SonarQube, and Snyk to support development workflowsSupervise cloud FinOps practices including budget forecasting, cloud usage tracking, tagging enforcement, and savings recommendationsGuide observability engineering including implementation of metrics, logs, and traces to improve platform reliability and incident responseCollaborate with the Infrastructure and Cloud Operations team to support cloud-native patterns and ensure platform compatibilityDrive adoption of automation, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps principles within platform engineering workflowsSupport enterprise cost governance by producing reports, dashboards, and visibility into AWS usage and optimization opportunitiesMentor and lead a high-performing team of platform engineers, DevOps engineers, and FinOps analystsDefine and execute a roadmap for platform modernization and cloud financial maturityParticipate in, adhere to and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectivesThe ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employeesOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field required5+ years in platform engineering or DevOps roles required2+ years in a leadership role requiredExperience managing cloud spend and collaborating with infrastructure or finance teams on cost optimization requiredKnowledge of AWS services, cost management tools, observability platforms, and developer enablement practices requiredParticipate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectivesThe ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employeesCertifications in AWS, FinOps, or DevOps toolchains are preferredBenefitsTop of the industry benefits for Health, Dental, and Vision insurance20 days paid time off4 weeks paid parental leave9 paid holidays401K company match of up to 5% - No vesting requirementAdoption Assistance ProgramFlexible Spending AccountEducational Assistance Plan and Professional Membership assistanceReferral Bonus Program – up to $750!Company OverviewNavitus Health Solutions LLC is a full service, URAC-accredited pharmacy benefit management company.
