[Remote] Manager or Senior Manager, CMC Project Management

WuXi AppTec is a leading global pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, and they are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager for CMC Project Management. This role is responsible for managing drug substance (DS) and drug product (DP) projects, ensuring they progress from proposal to completion while coordinating with clients and internal teams.ResponsibilitiesAssist BD in preparing quotations/proposals with inputs from key stakeholdersParticipate in the planning and implementation of projects. Establish project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Define project tasks and resource requirementsClosely monitor/control project progression to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Report project progress to all key stakeholdersSupport technical team to investigate potential issues and implement corrective measuresServe as the liaison for client contacts and manage day-to-day communicationsRepresent company in project meetings, prepare meeting agenda and minutes, and follow through on action itemsEvaluate and assess project results and provide recommendations for future improvementsProvide support to business development team by attending customer visits, conferences, or tradeshowsSkillsMasters (MS) or PhD in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences2+ years of pharmaceutical or CRO/CMO industry experienceProject management experienceMust be bilingual (fluent in English and Mandarin)Candidate should possess strong and effective project management, problem solving and interpersonal skills and have a proven track record working cross-functionally across a wide variety of technical, business, and operational areasDemonstrate good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and small molecule drug development processMust be a self-starter, self-motivated, and highly flexibleMust be organized and detail-orientedProven experience in creating and carrying out successful plans and processesWork closely with team members in the business units and the project management team to ensure coordination of efforts and ensure good communication with all partiesProficiency in both English and Mandarin is requiredExcellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills)Ability to use all Microsoft Office productsAbility to stand /Sit/walk for long periods of timeAbility to crouch, bend, twist, and reachAbility to travel via plane or train2+ years of pharmaceutical or CRO/CMO industry experienceProject management experienceExperience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO)Company OverviewWuXi AppTec provides a broad portfolio of R&D and manufacturing services that enable companies in the pharmaceutical.
