They are seeking a strategic and analytical Manager of Sales Compensation to design and scale compensation programs that support high-performing teams and drive business growth, collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment with Route's growth strategy.ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage scalable compensation programs including base pay, commissions, bonuses, incentives, and SPIFs aligned to Route’s business goalsLead administration and optimization of sales and customer success compensation plans, including modeling, forecasting, payouts, and performance analysisPartner cross-functionally with Revenue Leadership, Finance, RevOps, HR, and Recruiting to support compensation strategy, budgeting, hiring, and retention initiativesConduct compensation benchmarking, analytics, and reporting to evaluate program effectiveness, market competitiveness, and pay equityOwn key compensation operations including merit cycles, bonus planning, commission rollouts, mid-year adjustments, and governance processesImprove compensation systems, automation, and processes while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and operational excellenceSkills8+ years of experience in compensation, including sales compensation and incentive program administrationExperience designing and managing commission structures, bonus programs, and SPIF initiatives in fast-paced environmentsStrong analytical, modeling, and forecasting skills with advanced Excel proficiency and experience using compensation or reporting toolsAbility to partner cross-functionally with Finance, RevOps, HR, Recruiting, and business leadership to drive compensation strategy and operational executionStrong understanding of compensation benchmarking, market data, and scalable compensation frameworksExceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential informationExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skillsExperience in SaaS, fintech, technology, or other high-growth environmentsFamiliarity with compensation systems, Salesforce, Tableau, AI tools, and workflow automation technologiesBenefitsPay 95% - 100% of your health insurance premiums for you and your familyRemote or hybrid work arrangementsUnlimited PTO401k matchingFormalized growth opportunitiesLearning & developmentDEI programs & eventsEligible to participate in Routes equity incentive plan to receive stock options per the terms of the agreementCompany OverviewRoute Academy is a future-focused tech education provider and talent accelerator committed to equipping individuals with the practical skills, mindset, and real-world experience needed to thrive in the ever-evolving digital economy.
