[Remote] Manager, Financial Systems

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Blue Cross NC is seeking a Manager, Financial Systems who excels at the intersection of finance, technology, and leadership. The role involves leading a team to ensure effective oversight of financial systems, compliance with corporate policies, and management of finance data governance practices.ResponsibilitiesManage staff responsible for the application security, administration, implementation and maintenance of processes and procedures related to the effective oversight of Financial SystemsOversees communications, training programs, and performance reporting. Report on Financial System performance including incidents, problems, relevant Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and complianceProvide leadership and management of all Finance data governance practices and processesEnsure compliance with corporate policies, support internal and external audits and proactively maintain process and controls and recommend process improvements where necessaryAssist with systems-related needs assessments, cost benefit analyses, and definition of business requirements and functional specificationsManage the implementation of system fixes and upgrades for financial reporting related systems (e.g. Lawson, PAM, SAS FM).
