[Remote] Manager, Clinical Data Management

The role involves providing leadership, operational delivery, and performance management for a team, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and customer satisfaction with services and deliverables.ResponsibilitiesCarry out department and company strategies, as requiredManage assigned sponsor financials and ensures staff understands the areas they are responsible forOversee staff monthly revenue recognition for assigned sponsors ensuring budget adherenceParticipate in department and/or company initiativesResponsible for selection, training, development, and performance management of reporting staffResourcing and assignment of staff and/or projectsEnsure team deliverables are made on time and with high qualityMay perform functional CDM tasks, as requiredEnsure metric goals for assigned sponsor(s) are met or exceeded; troubleshooting areas that are in need of improvementInfluence cross-functional leadership participation to ensure sponsor and/or project goals are effectively supportedMay participate in business development activities such as bid defense meetings and conferencesEnsure customer satisfaction with all services and deliverables based on customer feedbackParticipate in and/or contributes to Sponsor and/or Regulatory audits/inspectionsEnsure staff have completed and are executing to departmental, company, and/or sponsor SOPsPerform other duties as required by the departmentSkillsUniversity/college degree (life science, pharmacy or related subject preferred), or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution (e.g., nursing certification, medical or laboratory technology)7 years of functional CDM work experience plus 3 year of management experience preferred, or a combination of a minimum of 4 years of functional experience and 4 years of management experienceAdditional relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualificationsBroad knowledge of drug development processesUnderstanding of global clinical development budgets and relationship to productivity targetsKnowledge of effective clinical data management practicesStrong project management skillsetStrong people management experienceStrong organizational skillsStrong communication skills, verbal and writtenDetail orientedStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience with data management systemsAbility to effectively prioritize workload and deliverablesFlexible, team playerCompany OverviewAtorus is a pharmaceuticals and clinical analytics service-based company.
