They are seeking a Managed Care Financial Analytics Director to lead the development of analytics capabilities that support payer negotiations and reimbursement strategies while transforming complex data into actionable insights for revenue performance.ResponsibilitiesBuild and lead a managed care analytics function, establishing scalable processes, standards, and operating modelsDevelop financial models to support payer negotiations, renewals, and pricing strategiesProduce negotiation-ready insights including reimbursement analysis, revenue impact, and margin sensitivityTranslate payer strategy into data-driven decisions impacting contracts, service lines, and network strategyAnalyze value-based care performance, bundled payments, and total cost of care modelsPartner cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy, governance, and actionable reportingDeliver executive-level dashboards and reporting to guide enterprise decision-makingSupport live negotiations with real-time modeling and financial scenariosIdentify underperformance, denial trends, and contract compliance risksDrive improvements in payer strategy, reimbursement structures, and financial outcomesSkillsBachelor's degree in business, economics, healthcare administration, or a related field10+ years of experience in healthcare or financial analytics, with managed care expertise5+ years of leadership experience building and managing analytics functions or teamsDeep knowledge of healthcare finance, payer/provider reimbursement models, and contract structuresExperience with managed care contracting, pricing strategy, and value-based care modelsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with executive presenceExpertise in contract interpretation, claims data, and healthcare coding methodologiesProficiency with analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Epic, or similar)Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive strategic initiativesCompany OverviewCity of Hope is a cancer research and treatment non-profit organization specializing in diabetes and other life-threatening illnesses.
