[Remote] Maintenance Solutions Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Comfort Systems USA Southwest is seeking a Maintenance Solutions Consultant to join their team. This role involves developing mechanical project solutions for customers, maintaining client relationships, and addressing customer needs with effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical HVAC technical background and a strong customer service orientation.ResponsibilitiesMining for new accountsDeveloping mechanical project solutions for customersMaintaining existing client relationshipsFollowing through with each client and opportunityAppraising and surveying mechanical systemsUnderstanding prospects' needs and problemsDetermining repair, modification, and/or replacement requirements to provide prospects with solutions to problemsInterpreting drawings, equipment, and job conditionsEstimating the cost of proposed repair/modification/replacement and applying company pricing standards to the estimateIncreasing existing customers' perception of and use of the company's services by providing prompt, cost-effective solutions to customers' problemsOffering products to improve customer's facilityIdentifying prospects in assigned marketsPromptly following up on leads and referralsEstablishing customer rapport and identifying needsMaintaining an active backlog of quotes to ensure booking goal is consistently metPromptly addressing customer concerns to assure the resolution of problems and maintain long-term positive relationshipsSkills2-5+ years' experience in HVAC commercial service or related fieldRelevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environmentStrong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitudeFinancial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for consulting proposalsExperience in developing technical and cost proposalsIndependent decision-making is requiredComputer skills using MS Office requiredExcel skills are requiredCompetitive nature, articulate, goal-oriented, ambitious, and high energyPrior mechanical HVAC technical experience is requiredBenefitsPAID holidaysGenerous Benefits including 401k match.PAID VacationMilitary and Veterans Encouraged to Apply!Company outings and events (camping trips, golf, etc.)Company OverviewComfort Systems USA Southwest is a facilities services company providing installation, ventilating, plumbing, and piping services.
