The Maintenance Engineer will improve plant reliability by incorporating precision maintenance practices and will be responsible for training maintenance technicians, developing standards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.ResponsibilitiesComply fully with local and ADM’s safety regulations/standards and promote safety culture. Help ensure the maintenance department meets goals for safety and health, environment, product quality, processing, costs and effectivenessEnsure a good understanding of current standard methodologies (elements) and deploy those agreed to in the businessResponsible for providing technical expertise to the Maintenance Team to improve the overall equipment efficiency\systems performance and reliabilityContributes to the analysis of actual equipment design and assists in the performance of failure mode and effect analysisWorks with Engineering Teams to develop new approaches for maintaining new and existing equipmentLead/Assist AFE Projects as needed to ensure efficiency and completion within budgetMentor and provide guidance to mechanics, engineers and contractors on Maintenance Strategies and TechnologiesWrites and update maintenance procedures and all pertinent documentsSupports execution of RCM process on existing equipmentWorks with Planner to improve planning process and develop job plans thru periodic job auditsMaintains communications between maintenance, engineering, and technical projectsIntegrate PM's and predictive/diagnostic work into the Preventive Maintenance ProgramAudits compliance for Food Safety and Quality Precision Maintenance into the Maintenance ProgramSkills10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing preferredMinimum of 3 years' experience managing industrial and contract maintenance preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent leadership and organizational skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Computerized Maintenance Systems, (CMMS)Individual must be able to work productively within a team environmentIndividual must be accurate and trustworthy, with a positive attitude and embracing change in a dynamic manufacturing environmentA maintenance engineer must be trained on at least the basics of planning and schedulingMust understand the root cause analysis along with other basics of system knowledgeMust be very detail-oriented with significant maintenance experience rebuilding machineryBenefitsSalaried Incentive Plan: The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonusHourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hoursCompany OverviewADM unlocks the power of nature to enrich the quality of life.
