[Remote] Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PHIZENIX is seeking a skilled Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant to support application migration programs on IBM Z. This role focuses on migration from competitive source-code management and DevOps tooling to IBM solutions while providing hands-on delivery, conversion analysis, troubleshooting, and client-facing support in complex z/OS environments.ResponsibilitiesLead and support migration projects from CA Endevor and other source-code management platforms to IBM DBB, Git, IDz, and IBM DevOps Deploy / IDDAnalyze, convert, and validate existing Endevor-based applications and development flowsInstall, configure, and troubleshoot IBM DevOps migration tools in customer environmentsSupport build, branching, repository, and pipeline transition activities in IBM Z DevOpsPrepare and deliver customer training sessions and technical presentations related to DevOps migration and IBM toolingSkillsStrong z/OS / IBM Z mainframe background with application development, system programming, or software change management experienceHands-on migration experience from Non-IBM / ISV DevOps or SCM tools—especially CA Endevor—to IBM DBB, Git, IDz, and IBM DevOps Deploy / IDDPractical experience analyzing, converting, validating, and troubleshooting migration of application build and change-management processesStrong working knowledge of TSO/ISPF, JCL, USS, and REXXWorking knowledge of Git, repositories, branching, YAML, Groovy scripting, and pipeline/build debuggingStrong problem-determination skills and the ability to support customers through migration-related issuesExperience with applications development on IBM ZExposure to related migration areas such as Easytrieve-to-COBOL conversion and IBM Migration UtilityHands-on experience in mainframe modernization and enterprise DevOps transformationCompany OverviewWe provide Talent Solutions for the AI Era.
