[Remote] Machine Learning / AI Algorithm Engineer

They are seeking an Applied AI / Machine Learning Engineer to develop and optimize AI/ML algorithms, build production-ready AI capabilities, and contribute to the design of AI safety solutions.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop and optimize AI/ML algorithms and application components
ā¢ Build scripts, tools, prototypes, and production-ready AI capabilities
ā¢ Fine-tune, adapt, and evaluate models for specific use cases
ā¢ Integrate LLMs, APIs, data pipelines, and AI application workflows
ā¢ Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar to accelerate development
ā¢ Contribute to the design of agentic AI safety and alignment solutions
ā¢ Evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and techniques
ā¢ Help shape CCai's technical direction and product capabilities
Skills
ā¢ About 5 years of experience in machine learning, AI engineering, applied AI, or related software development
ā¢ Strong Python programming and scripting skills
ā¢ Hands-on experience with machine learning or LLM-based systems
ā¢ Experience fine-tuning, adapting, or evaluating AI models
ā¢ Ability to build full AI applications, prototypes, or production components
ā¢ Familiarity with modern AI development tools and coding assistants
ā¢ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a startup environment
ā¢ Experience with agentic AI systems, tool-calling, workflow orchestration, or multi-step AI applications
ā¢ Experience with AI safety, alignment, guardrails, red teaming, or model monitoring
ā¢ Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenAI APIs, or Anthropic APIs
ā¢ Experience with RAG systems, embeddings, vector databases, or enterprise AI deployment
ā¢ Background in applied research, enterprise software, cybersecurity, or AI governance
