They are seeking a Low Latency Network Engineer to architect, engineer, and deploy ultra-low latency network infrastructure, ensuring performance management and service availability for intraday trading and market data delivery.ResponsibilitiesProvide solutions across the company's datacenters and global colocation estateArchitect, engineer and deploy ultra-low latency network infrastructureOverseeing and carrying-out installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, optimization and documentation of all network hardware, security hardware, software and connectivityManaging/participating in multiple projectsConfiguring / optimizing the network to ensure ultra-low/low latency is achieved for intraday trading and direct market access systemsProviding exchange, broker and managed service providers connectivity to support market data delivery and order executionSkills20+ Years of total industry experienceStrong knowledge on Electronic and Algo Trading Platforms, Feed Handlers, Order Routers, Smart Order Routers, FIX protocolsExchange binary FIX protocols such as OUCH also ITCHStrong Network engineering and project delivery experienceAdvanced knowledge of routing and switching protocolsExperience with Unicast: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, IPSEC and GREExperience with Switching: STP, PC/vPC/MLAG, CDP/LLDP, QoS, HSRP/VRRP, VLAN/VxLAN, Spine and Leaf infrastructuresIn-depth experience with Cisco Nexus network switching, routing hardware and softwareKnowledge of Algorithmic/DMA/HFT and trading platforms and how the trade lifecycle operatesSolid understanding of market venue, exchange protocols (binary, FIX, ITCH, OUCH, Pillar, etc.) and trading systems across multiple asset classesExcellent communication skills; ability to perform under pressure and detail orientedKnowledge of network monitoring PCAP decoding tools landscape (Corvil, SFlow, timestamping (PTP) preferred but not required)Strong scripting and automation experience (Python preferred but not required)While certification are interesting, they are not required as we value experience over certificationCompany OverviewIS3 Solutions is an IT company that provides data centers, cloud, cyber security, IT infrastructure, and IT financing solutions.
