[Remote] Logistics & Sales Support (Internship or Ongoing Part-Time)

They are seeking a Logistics & Sales Support intern or part-time employee to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management and sales support, working alongside Customer Service Managers and Sales Assistants.ResponsibilitiesLearn to request freight quotes, calculate markups, and understand different shipping methods, truck types, and Inco termsManage warehouse appointment scheduling, release requests, inventory pulls, and specialized storage needs (like racking systems or heated truck blankets)Reconcile warehouse invoices, submit completed invoice packets, and navigate import or inventory dealsLearn how to handle freight claims and resolve active supply chain disruptionsGet hands-on training with our CRM’s Scheduled Orders Portal, Pick Tickets, and Delivery OrdersLearn how to write up complete and accurate sales orders, purchase orders, direct-ship orders, and inventory contractsCollect and analyze essential freight and food safety documents (BOLs, COAs) and utilize industry software like TraceGainsProcess, track, and manage product sample requests and create shipping labels via FedEx and UPSLearn inventory management, dashboard tracking, use storage/import calculators, and assist with vendor vetting and fraud preventionSkillsPursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or General Business AdministrationStrong interest in supply chain operations, logistics coordination, and/or sales supportExcellent MS Office Suite skills and eagerness to master new proprietary industry softwareHighly detail-oriented, professional, and capable of working independently in a 100% remote environmentStrong analytical skills, including the ability to read technical documents and perform basic math (weight conversions, metrics, fractions etc.)Commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week during the summer, with the availability to work Pacific Time business hoursCompany Overviewfoodguys is a bulk ingredient supplier that goes beyond ingredient sourcing for manufacturers.
