Remote Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all aspects of freight transportation, both domestic and international. Plan, schedule, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. Manage relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and ensuring service level agreements are met. Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs declarations. Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues. Utilize logistics software and systems for tracking, reporting, and analysis. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in the supply chain. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies. Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding logistics status. Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and expenditures. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in logistics coordination, transportation management, or supply chain operations. Strong understanding of shipping processes, regulations, and documentation. Proficiency in logistics management software and ERP systems. Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
