[Remote] Loan Processor

They are seeking a Loan Processor to manage mortgage applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is gathered and reviewed for completeness while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Manages pipeline of 20-25 loans per month, including purchases and refinances
ā¢ Compiles and verifies borrower information for residential mortgage loans
ā¢ Calculates borrower income, assets, and liabilities
ā¢ Reviews loan applications for completeness, ensuring loan meets standards (type, amount, assets); reconciles against system input
ā¢ Gathers required documentation from borrowers and third parties
ā¢ Communicates effectively with Mortgage Loan Originators and other stakeholders to complete mortgage loan file processing requirements
Skills
ā¢ High school diploma or equivalent required
ā¢ Minimum 3 years processing experience
ā¢ Proficient with DU/GUS/ LP
ā¢ Familiar with FHA, VA, USDA and conventional products
ā¢ Proficient Mortgage Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with solid computer skills
ā¢ Analytical thinker and consultative mind to support both team members and managers in all areas of the business
ā¢ Goal-oriented, self-motivated with the capacity to meet and exceed assigned goals
ā¢ Willing to learn, industrious, determined, and assertive
ā¢ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks
ā¢ Strong people skills with ability to interact with all internal teams and external customers
ā¢ Must be able to maintain sensitive and confidential information
ā¢ Diligence to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and on time
