[Remote] Loan Officer Assistant

The Loan Officer Assistant will be a crucial point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from the initial application through to loan qualification, while also providing organizational support to the team.ResponsibilitiesConduct initial calls with new clients to review their goals and explain our processHandle basic client questions and provide support throughout the process, including guiding them through application instructionsScrub and review client applications, follow up on necessary documents, and meticulously organize and save all borrower filesAssess if a borrower qualifies for a loan or if they require a co-mortgagorComplete a pre-approval letter (PAL) on the same day as the application is received, when necessaryCoordinate with real estate agents and buyers, scheduling calls for senior team members as neededTrack and manage leads, providing status reports to the teamProactively follow up with leads via phone and email, and handle other administrative duties to keep the team organized and efficientSkillsExceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and real estate agentsYou must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlinesA flexible and proactive team player who is self-motivated and enjoys working behind the scenes to help others succeedThe ability to maintain strict confidentiality with all client personal and financial informationTech-savvy and eager to learn new systems.
