Job Summary:
In this full-time or part-time remote position, you will work closely with our utility teams to outline, develop, and capture business needs. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement
Developing and maintaining a strong data model architecture to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions
Leveraging transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python) to deliver innovative solutions and ensure data quality and accuracy
Providing guidance to enhance competencies and drive efficiency in computing programs using big data ecosystems
Proactively identifying and automating manual tasks to improve productivity and efficiency
Requirements:
Prior experience in customer service or data entry roles preferred
Excellent typing speed and accuracy
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using computer applications and navigating online systems
Flexible availability to work varying shifts as needed
Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, shell scripting languages, and development launch management and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a collaborative environment
