[Remote] Linux Operations Engineer

They are seeking a Linux Operations Engineer to ensure the stability and performance of their Linux-based trading and research platforms, while also driving automation and monitoring initiatives within a high-performance computing environment.ResponsibilitiesAdminister, support, and upgrade Linux-based trading and research platformsDeploy new servers and manage end-to-end build processesCollaborate with engineering teams on automation and monitoring initiativesTroubleshoot incidents and carry out root-cause analysis to ensure long-term stabilityContribute to process documentation and knowledge sharingPerform occasional out-of-hours work and participate in an on-call rota (primarily remote)SkillsStrong Linux administration experience (Red Hat, CentOS)Experience with full lifecycle server deployments (hardware to OS build)Knowledge of AMD/Intel server hardware and componentsUnderstanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, LAN/WAN)Experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible)Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash)Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and communication skillsTeam-oriented with a willingness to learn and adaptExposure to NFS or SAN storage systems (advantage but not essential)BenefitsDiscretionary performance-based bonusesA competitive benefits packageCompany OverviewQube Research & Technologies is a quantitative and systematic investment manager with offices in Hong Kong, London, Mumbai and Paris.
