[Remote] Lending Product & Credit Policy Analyst

They are seeking a Lending Product & Credit Policy Analyst to manage and develop product lending guidelines and research potential product offerings that meet the needs of both the company and its customers.ResponsibilitiesManage and develop product lending guidelines and matrices by designing, testing, and updating lending criteria (e.g. LTV, credit score thresholds, and DTI limits)Organize launch of new lending products while maintaining investor or secondary market guidelinesProvide product assessments and comparisonsCoordinate and manage new product rolloutMaintain investor guidelines and coordinate announcements of changes to the floorPoll investors for guideline clarificationReview “Ask the UW” questions for first level responseReview exception queue for first level responseActing as the bridge between sales, underwriting, compliance, and secondary markets to roll out program changes seamlesslySkillsHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferredMust reside in the United States2-3 years' experience in mortgage lending product development, credit risk, policy analysis or secondary marketingUnderwriting experience a plusMust have deep understanding of the mortgage industry, including market trends and regulatory requirementsThorough understanding of agency & investor underwriting guidelines, policies and proceduresProven ability to manage project timelinesExperience working with cross-functional teamsBasic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measureStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data modeling/exception tracking)Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and policy management platformsCompany OverviewWhether you’ve been dreaming of buying your first home with your young family or of diversifying your investment portfolio with real estate, you’re in the right place.
