They are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel for a temporary engagement to support commercial contracting, outsourcing, and technology transactions.ResponsibilitiesServe as the lead legal advisor on complex commercial agreements, including technology, SaaS, cloud services, software licensing, professional services, procurement, and vendor contractsNegotiate and draft a wide range of commercial agreements supporting multiple business unitsPartner with procurement, technology, compliance, privacy, and business stakeholders on strategic initiativesAdvise senior leadership on outsourcing strategies, vendor relationships, and commercial risk managementSupport M&A-related projects, including contract due diligence, disclosure schedules, and post-closing integration mattersHelp develop and enhance commercial contracting processes, playbooks, and best practicesSkillsJ.D. and active bar membership5+ years of experience as a commercial transactional attorneyStrong experience negotiating complex technology, procurement, outsourcing, and vendor agreementsFamiliarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and vendor risk considerationsAbility to work independently and partner effectively with senior business stakeholdersExperience within insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is a plusCompany OverviewFor over 50 years, TBG has stood as a leader in the staffing and recruiting industry.
