Position Overview
As a Debt Defense Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our legal team, providing integral support to our partners, attorneys, and paralegals in various legal tasks and administrative duties. This fully remote position requires a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel
Assist attorneys and paralegals with various requests
Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings and discovery materials
Maintain accurate client files, manage calendars, and assist in case management
Communicate effectively with opposing counsel and judicial assistants
Undertake additional relevant tasks as assigned
Required Skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook (preferred)
Exceptional phone etiquette and a positive team-oriented mindset
Ability to multitask and excel in a dynamic, remote work environment
Punctuality and reliability
Qualifications
College diploma
Prior experience in a remote work setting (preferred)
