Remote Legal Assistant (Family Law)

Experience Entry Level Salary $23 - $40 per hour Job Details - What You'll Do • Manage e-filing of court documents, calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, and coordinate logistics • Draft and proofread litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and memos • Support attorneys with email correspondence, pleading preparation, and client file management • Communicate professionally with clients and opposing counsel • Conduct basic legal research, including local rules across various superior courts • Scan and digitize records and pleadings with a sharp eye for accuracy • Handle data entry and billing-related tasks • Assist with firm operations, including website updates, marketing, and lead generation support • Provide reception coverage on an as-needed basis • Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff throughout the litigation lifecycle What You Bring • 10+ years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm setting • 5+ years of family law experience (strongly preferred) • Fluency in Mandarin and English (required) • Strong technical skills and comfort with legal software • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks • A strong work ethic and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset • Supervisory or managerial experience is a plus Why Apply • 100% remote flexibility • Competitive compensation based on experience • Boutique firm environment with meaningful, substantive work • Opportunity to take initiative and grow with a collaborative team A bit about us - A boutique law firm specializing in family law and civil litigation is seeking a seasoned Senior Family Law Legal Assistant to join our team.
