We are seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract candidates proficient in transcribing depositions and hearings for a remote independent contractor role. The role entails transcribing content from depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings, demanding keen attention to detail, knowledge of legal terminology, and strong grammar skills.
 *Responsibilities**
 Produce verbatim transcripts by processing audio recordings in adherence to specified style guides.
 Manage workload independently while complying with deadlines and client-specific requirements.
 Collaborate remotely with a supportive in-office team for guidance, ensuring accuracy and quality in transcriptions.
 *Requirements**
 Previous experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
 Exceptional listening skills and outstanding literacy abilities.
 Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy.
 Ability to process complex audio/text content, including potentially offensive material.
 Background check clearance and familiarity with legal terminology.
 Candidates studying court reporting will also be considered (excluding Massachusetts and California residents).
 *Working Conditions**
 Flexibility to set your own schedule.
 Availability for weekend work preferred.
 Access to 24/7/365 work opportunities to suit diverse schedules.
