[Remote] Learning Experience Designer (LXD) & eLearning Development
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Learning Network is seeking independent contractors for the role of Learning Experience Designer (LXD) & eLearning Development Consultant. The role involves designing and developing digital learning assets to support customer education and product adoption initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop digital learning assets, including eLearning courses, microlearning, blended programs, and instructor-led materialsConduct learning needs analysis and recommend instructional strategies, formats, and sequencingCreate learning design documentation (objectives, outlines, storyboards, scripts, and assessments)Develop interactive eLearning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline and RiseProduce and integrate multimedia elements (audio, video, animation, graphics) as requiredPublish and test content for LMS delivery (e.g., SCORM/xAPI), ensuring functionality and tracking accuracyPerform quality assurance (QA) to validate usability, accessibility considerations, and design alignmentReview feedback and revise deliverables based on agreed project requirementsMaintain organized project files required to support delivery, revisions, and handoff per contractual requirementsCollaborate with client stakeholders as needed to gather inputs and validate learning requirementsCommunicate risks, assumptions, or scope considerations that may impact project deliverySkillsDemonstrated professional experience delivering learning design and eLearning development servicesWorking knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologiesProficiency with Articulate Storyline and Rise (Vyond experience preferred)Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet agreed milestones independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skills when working with client stakeholdersExperience developing learning for remote or distributed audiencesAdobe After Effects experienceExperience with learning management systemsFamiliarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)Company OverviewThe Learning Network is a family of companies dedicated to providing best-in-class solutions in eLearning software, course development and strategic solutions.
