[Remote] Lead Technical Program Manager

and continuous improvement across teams.ResponsibilitiesManage cross-functional technical projects and contribute to larger program initiatives from initiation through execution, delivery and operationalization for healthcare and life sciences data and analytics productsManage product development initiatives across Product and Engineering and/or technical initiatives with ITPartner with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, success metrics, dependencies, and implementation plans and drive alignment and commitment to delivery outcomesDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, RAID logs, communication plans, release schedules, and status reportingCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on priorities, milestones, deliverables, and timelinesFacilitate project meetings, stakeholder reviews, and program governance activitiesDrive quarterly planning, roadmap alignment, prioritization, and execution tracking activitiesContribute to the continuous improvement of program and project management practicesDrive decision-making across stakeholders by clearly framing tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations, and escalating with proposed paths forwardPartner closely with engineering, data and IT teams to understand system architecture, data flows, and technical dependencies to inform execution planningSupport and maintain program governance standards, reporting frameworks, operating cadences, and execution processesApply appropriate delivery methodologies based on the nature of the initiative, including agile practices where applicableEnsure transparency into project status, risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery timelinesHelp drive operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives across teamsMaintain consistency in project documentation, reporting, and communication practicesSupport software labor capitalization practices where applicableSupport agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement of team processesOperate within and help scale a structured program management framework, including governance cadences, standardized reporting, and execution rigor across Product & Engineering and ITProduce clear and concise project and stakeholder updates, including dashboards and status reportsDrive consistent and effective use of Jira, Confluence and/or Asana for transparent project planning, reporting, project tracking and time trackingSupport and improve Tempo time tracking adoptionPrepare executive-ready status reports, dashboards, meeting materials, and KPI trackingSupport cross-program reporting and delivery visibility initiativesHelp improve workflows, reporting structures, and team collaboration practicesIdentify and proactively manage project and program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependenciesCoordinate mitigation plans and escalate critical concerns appropriately with clear recommendations and impact framingTrack cross-functional dependencies to support successful delivery outcomesSupport teams in resolving blockers and navigating competing prioritiesBuild strong working relationships across technical and business teamsFacilitate cross-team coordination to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and dependenciesProvide clear, effective communication among stakeholders at varying organizational levels and functionsTranslate complex technical or operational information into concise and actionable updatesProvide regular program updates on project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholdersSupport organizational change management and stakeholder engagement activities where neededInterface regularly with senior leadership to provide executive-level updates, influence priorities, and support strategic decision-makingFoster collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence across teamsContribute to a culture of continuous improvement and disciplined executionShare best practices and support onboarding or mentoring of junior team members as appropriateAct as a reliable and proactive partner within the Program Management organizationSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field required8+ years of experience managing cross-functional technical projects and contributing to complex program deliveryProven experience managing programs related to software engineering, data science, data engineering, and other technical domainsDeep understanding of agile development frameworks and engineering operationsStrong understanding of the software development life cycle required, and software development experience preferredExperience operating in a matrixed organization and driving complex cross-team dependencies at scaleAbility to operate effectively in environments involving data platforms, pipelines, APIs, and distributed systemsExcellent organizational, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environmentProficiency with project management and collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence and Asana required; experience with Tempo a plusResults-driven, adaptable, self-motivated and comfortable navigating ambiguityExposure to AI/ML initiatives, data platforms, or DevSecOps practices preferredExperience with executive reporting, governance processes, and cross-functional coordination preferredPMP, SAFe,
