[Remote] Lead Software Implementations Project Manager

Alexander Technology Group is seeking a Lead Software Implementation Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of enterprise software implementations and lead the implementation project management team. This role combines hands-on project execution with team leadership, process development, and performance management to ensure high customer satisfaction and project success.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of Implementation Project Managers, including coaching, mentoring, and performance managementLead end-to-end SaaS software implementations for manufacturing and industrial clients, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment, user adoption, and business process alignmentEstablish team standards, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all implementationsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency, customer satisfaction, and scalabilityDefine and track key performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, budget adherence, customer satisfaction) and hold the team accountable to high standardsOversee project portfolio health, proactively identifying risks, resource constraints, and opportunities for improvementDirectly manage complex, high-impact implementation projects from initiation through deliveryDevelop and manage project plans, including scope, resources, budgets, timelines, milestones, and deliverablesEnsure alignment with contractual obligations and customer expectationsCommunicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers through status updates, presentations, workshops, and training sessionsFoster strong relationships with customers and internal teams, establishing credibility and trust at all levelsMaintain and promote organized, standardized project documentation and artifactsCreate a Project Management Office (PMO) to align with broader organizational standards and initiativesDevelop deep expertise software, including configuration and potential customization, to guide both team and customer successSkillsProven experience leading and managing enterprise software implementation teamsDemonstrated success delivering complex software implementations on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfactionExperience managing a minimum of 10 enterprise-level software implementations or deploymentsAt least 3–5 years of experience managing cloud-based software implementationsBachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or a related technical field preferredStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and elevate team performanceHighly goal-oriented, with a focus on accountability, metrics, and measurable outcomesAbility to drive process transformation and implement scalable best practicesExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with adaptability in complex environmentsDetail-oriented with the ability to operate both strategically and tacticallyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences, including executives, clients, and technical teamsStrong ability to develop reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentationOccasional travel, up to 15%Flexibility to accommodate additional hours or travel based on project needsBenefitsFully remote - New England based candidates onlyNo sponsorship available10-15% travel to office in Springfield, MAOccasional travel, up to 15%Flexibility to accommodate additional hours or travel based on project needsCompany OverviewAlexander Technology Group offers a variety of custom IT staffing and recruiting solutions to corporate decision makers.
