[Remote] Lead Sales Engineer

The Lead Sales Engineer will be responsible for growing sales, identifying technical solutions for customers, and collaborating with various teams to promote sales efforts.ResponsibilitiesGrow sales of B&R's complete product range in the territory by working on new and existing sales opportunitiesIdentify, define, and develop the best technical solution and strategy for customer applicationsHold in-depth technical presentations and discussions with the customersExpand customer base through the development and execution of a Target Account Business PlanDevelop market intelligence and document this knowledge in B&Rβs CRM system (Customer Relationship Management) systemWork with Marketing, Business Development, and other resources to promote sales effortsAttend trade shows to seek out potential customers and to represent B&R at these shows; attend yearly sales meetings and workshopsIncrease sales with existing customers through exceptional sales support as well as the introduction of new products and servicesAdditional duties as assignedSkillsBachelors degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or similar) or equivalent work experience6+ years' relevant experience in technical sales, business development and lead generation; prior automation preferredExperience with Machine and Motion Control desirableAbility to understand and explain complex technical products and solutions; keen interest in the application of leading-edge technology across industriesStrong interpersonal and presentation skillsTravel up to 50% - 75% within territory (mostly domestic with occasional international); applicants must possess a valid passportApplicants should possess authorization that would allow them to work permanently in the United States without sponsorshipBenefitsCompetitive, comprehensive, and crafted with you in mind.Company OverviewABB provides electrification and automation solutions for various industries.
