They are seeking a Lead Product Designer to guide interdisciplinary teams in creating exceptional user-centered experiences for their digital products, focusing on simplifying complex information for users.ResponsibilitiesTake the lead in User Experience design, developing industry-leading, high-value mobile and web-based experiences to simplify the member plan experience for multiple lines of businessTranslate consumer insights into design strategies and execution that meet real user needsServe as a primary point of contact with cross-functional partners in your workstream, ensuring alignment of UX deliverablesPlay a pivotal role in the progression of our design framework, contributing to the evolution of our design system and interaction patterns by defining, designing, and enhancing high-quality components and patterns for both web and mobile applicationsBuild trust and consensus with key stakeholders and varying senior leaders by utilizing storytelling, user journeys, prototypes, and other UX strategies to articulate complex concepts, customer problems, and potential solutionsCreate strategic design deliverables such as strategy decks, visions of future experiences and evangelize these strategies across different teams and workstreamsDevelop and lead workshops aimed at discovering hypotheses, exploring potential solutions, building enthusiasm, establishing shared understanding, and promoting team alignmentEnsure that digital principles, standards, styles, design patterns, and renderings are followed and represented correctlyPartner with our Insights team to create long-term research strategies and facilitate ongoing discovery and iterative deliveryPartner with Content Strategy to continuously drive and improve content, navigation, and site architectureSkillsAt least 7 years of experience as a Product Designer, User Experience Designer, or Interaction DesignerMust submit an online portfolio with your application that demonstrates the ability to create compelling mobile consumer user experiencesExpresses a passion for designing mobile applications with a portfolio of work that demonstrates expert knowledge and technical acumenMastery in Figma, with confidence in using its latest features and capabilitiesExperience designing with business, technical, and design guideline constraintsAbility to adapt existing processes and deliverables when necessary to meet project needs and improve efficiency and qualityDemonstrated ability to design complex transactional user interfaces and interactionsExperience creating conceptual models, site maps, interaction flows, design patterns, and design specificationsDemonstrated experience in defining research hypotheses and testing criteria, leading or participating in user research, and translating user research into design decisionsStrong track record of iterating and delivering digital products within an agile teamDeep experience creating interactive prototypesBachelor's Degree in relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design), certification from credible bootcamp or similar accelerated learning program, or equivalent work experienceSignificant relevant work experience may substitute for an advanced degreeSelf-starter who can make significant progress with minimal guidanceExperience creating inclusive and accessible designs, particularly for senior adultsAbility to be flexible in a fluid and dynamic environmentMust be extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple (and sometimes conflicting) priorities effectivelyExcellent analytical and process-oriented skillsExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skillsBenefitsThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
