[Remote] Lead Financial Analyst

Liberty Mutual Insurance is a leading company in the insurance sector, and they are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to support the expense planning and forecasting process for the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with finance leadership to produce budgets, develop financial forecasts, and drive strategic decision-making.ResponsibilitiesSupports the quarterly forecasting and annual planning process for the Finance organization and its processes (credit card fees, charge-offs), ensuring timely completion of deliverables and escalating issues for resolutionDevelops ad hoc and on-going financial forecasts and models that assist leadership in making decisions, effectively communicating trends and outcomes to managementPartners with stakeholders to incorporate key trends and expectations into the current year forecast, proactively identifying opportunities to close gaps to expense targets and drive incremental savingsWorks closely with the Results & Insights team to understand monthly results trends and incorporate them into forward-looking forecastsContinually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, making suggestions for improvements and collaborating with others in implementing themOversees budgeting system (Anaplan), coordinating enhancements and assisting in resolving production problemsLeads or actively participates in increasingly complex department projects and continuous improvement activities such as Plan Vision and the incorporation of AI into core workFosters the development of teammates by sharing expertise and experience through training or reviewing their work.
