The role involves leading large-scale performance improvement initiatives, managing complex data sets, and mentoring junior team members to drive measurable outcomes for healthcare organizations.ResponsibilitiesLead and support large-scale performance improvement initiatives with a strong emphasis on revenue integrityContribute to client engagements focused on price transparency compliance, pricing strategy development, payor contracting, payment variance analysis, chargemaster (CDM) reviews, charge capture optimization, and charge reconciliationQuantify the financial impact of assessment findings and translate them into actionable implementation plans, including financial modeling to support charge setting and strategic pricing decisionsManage and analyze large, complex data sets to uncover insights that inform engagement strategies and drive measurable outcomesTranslate data-driven findings into clear, actionable recommendations aligned with client objectivesDevelop high-quality deliverables-including analytics, reports, and presentations-that consistently exceed client expectations and demonstrate tangible valuePrepare materials and support communications for diverse stakeholder groups, including C-suite executives, management teams, steering committees, and boards of directorsMentor junior team members by providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and professional development supportSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare, or a related field4+ years of relevant healthcare experienceExperience in hospital charge setting, reimbursement and managed care contract modeling, supported by strong analytical skills and the ability to manage and interpret large, complex data sets efficientlyProficient in leveraging technologies and data analytics tools to enhance revenue and charge capture processes across hospital and clinic settingsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to travel as needed up to 35%Master's DegreePrior consulting experienceExperience in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, and/or PythonCertified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)BenefitsGroup health plan benefits401(K)Profit-sharing contributionsFlexible time offParental leaveNon-exempt/hourly positions will be eligible for time and half pay for employees that work over 40 hours in a workweekCompany OverviewForvis Mazars, LLP is an independent member of Forvis Mazars Global, a leading global professional services network.
