They are seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to architect and engineer their Global Cloud Management Platform, collaborate with various teams, and mentor team members in cloud networking and security solutions.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and engineer the Global Cloud Management Platform across multiple CSPs (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)Provide analysis and recommendations for continuously improving cloud network and security (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)Maintain, deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot the cloud platform network infrastructure of cloud-native and non-cloud-native solutionsCollaborate with cyber and infrastructure teams, cloud service providers (CSPs), and vendors to develop cutting-edge technical solutions, implementation activities, and support processesParticipate in the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of the cloud platform, applications, and infrastructure servicesAssist with problem escalation and operation ticketsInfluence standards and platforms for future application developmentMentor team members in the understanding and deployment of cloud networking and security solutionsWrite and manage technical documentation, policies, and proceduresDesign, develop, and implement automation scripts and workflows to deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure and applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate system requirements into efficient and scalable automation solutionsStay current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed educationSkillsAt least 8 years of experience in architecting and implementing public cloud platforms in two or more Cloud Service Provider networks (Azure, AWS, GCP)At least four years of work experience with public cloud networks and security: Azure, AWS, or GCPIn-depth knowledge of networking and security engineering and technical approaches in designing, building, testing, and debugging problems as required in large-scale enterprise and public cloud networks, including but not limited to routing and switching, routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IPv6, DNS, firewalls (such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, cloud-native firewalls, etc.), Private Links, CDNs, Application Gateways, F5 load balancers, unified threat management, IPS, IPsec VPN tunnel, Cisco routers and switches etcIn-depth knowledge of deploying hybrid-cloud integrations leveraging Express Route, Direct Connect, Partner Interconnect, Virtual WAN, AWS Cloud WAN, DMVPN, Transit Gateway, NCC, SDWAN, VPN, and inherent cloud-native solutions related to the respective cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)Experience with Microsoft PowerShell, Cloud Formation Templates, Postman, and automating security processes or configuration in a public cloudExperience and aptitude with software-defined networking (SDN)Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Postman)Experience with network deployments in containerized environments such as KubernetesFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)In-depth knowledge of cloud-native tools and servicesCollege Degree (BA/BS or equivalent) preferredAzure, AWS, or GCP certification preferred (Network Specialty)Excrement technical communication skills with both technical and non-technical teamsStar strong problem-solving skills with productive mind setAbility to lead people and technical discussion and guide decision making processBenefitsAt Deloitte, we value our people and offer employees a broad range of benefits.
