They are seeking a Lead Clinical Quality and Patient Safety Healthcare Executive to oversee complex client clinical quality and patient safety programs for Federal clients, ensuring alignment with national standards and effective risk reduction strategies.ResponsibilitiesSupport the VISN and local strategic and operational quality and safety programs for our Federal clientBe accountable for highly complex, multi-site client clinical quality and patient safety programsWork with client for mitigation and resolution strategies for risks proactivelyLead cross-functional collaboration assisting the client in the management of adverse events with analysis, intervention, identification of systemic issues, and widespread communications of key learningsDevelop longitudinal relationships with key client executives and drive discussions concerning strategy, structure, management and operations to support enterprise-wide leadership, and safety/quality teamsEnsure that organizational wide safety and quality goals and objectives and risk reduction strategies are implemented effectively wherever appropriate while engaging stakeholders in the processIdentify and prioritize local quality and performance needs to ensure they are in alignment with national standards for programs and integration into the Federal EHR workflows and processesMake recommendations on EHRM data, workflows and reports to support and operationalize local Quality Management plansSkillsMaster's Degree or equivalent work experience (Clinical licensure preferred) orAt least 7 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:At least 2 years licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experienceAt least 8 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the jobMaster's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, or relevant degree or equivalent work experienceAt least 5 years of Project management or health care information technology (HCIT) consulting work experienceReceipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your positionDue to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizenCertified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) and/or Certified Professional in Healthcare QualityExpertise in facilitation and management of group processes focused on systems thinking and objectively assessing and modifying workflow processes to improve safety and qualityExpertise in Patient Safety and Quality Improvement principles and practicesDemonstrated critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving, and conflict resolution skillsExperience working for the Federal government in any capacityBenefitsMay be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including expert medical opinionShort term disability and long term disabilityLife insurance and AD&DSupplemental life insurance (Employee/Spouse/Child)Health care and dependent care Flexible Spending AccountsPre-tax commuter and parking benefits401(k) Savings and Investment Plan with company matchPaid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
