They are seeking a New Client Intake and Conflicts Analyst to join their Administrative team, responsible for running conflicts checks, opening new clients and files in Aderant, and maintaining accurate client and matter data.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate information secured during the intake process to ensure accuracy and adequacy prior to opening a matter in AderantProfessional and prompt follow up with attorneys and administrative staff for additional information or for clarity of information as neededEnsure the consistent entry of accurate information, including the application of accurate rate sets, in Aderant during the intake process consistent with firm protocolsConduct timely and accurate conflict searches in accordance with firm policies and proceduresConduct timely and accurate opening of matters upon submission of appropriate information to the Business Intake GroupAddress requests that come to the New File Requests and Aderant File Maintenance Outlook groupsContribute to the maintenance and updating of information in Aderant as neededAssist in the intake process during the onboarding of new attorneys to the firm or the transfer of new business to the firm unrelated to onboardingAppreciate and understand the impact that the work of the Business Intake Department has on other departments and the firm overallReceive cross training and assist other departments as neededAssist with special projects and assignments as neededCompletion of reports on a daily, weekly, monthly or as needed basisResponds politely to internal staff, clients, vendors, etcWorks as a member of a teamAccepts change in a productive mannerPerforms other duties as necessary or assignedSkillsAssociate's Degree in accounting or related field2-5 years of related work experience requiredPossess excellent listening skills, verbal and written communication skillsPossess excellent organizational skills, and pay close attention to detailMust be able to read and write in English and use arithmetic skills accurately to complete required daily projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis in ExcelMust possess ability to take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously while working efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervisionExperience working either in an administrative role in a claims department in the insurance industry, or in a similar role handling conflicts checks and opening new files/clients at a large, multiple-office law firmAderant experience also a plusBenefitsComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement/401(k) programsCasual dress codeMental health support & employee resource groupsCompany OverviewMcAngus Goudelock & Courie is a law firm that specializes in insurance defense across the Southeast.
