Key Responsibilities

Listen carefully to audio files and transcribe the content verbatim or as per project guidelines.

Edit and proofread transcriptions to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and punctuation.

Manage and organize transcription files with confidentiality and data security in mind.

Meet deadlines consistently while maintaining high-quality output.

Communicate effectively with project managers regarding transcription progress and challenges.

Stay updated with industry best practices and transcription tools/software.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• *
Exceptional command of the English language (oral and written).
• *
Superior listening skills with the ability to discern accents, dialects, and nuances.
• *
Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 60 WPM preferred).
• *
Strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation proficiency.
• *
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Familiarity with transcription software and tools (e.g., Express Scribe, Otter.ai, or similar) is an advantage.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of transcription experience preferred, especially in language transcription or related fields.

Experience transcribing audio from interviews, podcasts, webinars, or legal/medical content is a plus.
