[Remote] Landscape Business Development Manager- Central Ohio

Schill Grounds Management is seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for pursuing new sales and maintaining customer relationships in Central Ohio. This role involves organizing plans, identifying potential clients, attending networking events, and developing proposals to address client needs.ResponsibilitiesOrganize a plan, research, and identify potential clients for landscaping and snow removal servicesAttend networking functions and events promoting our brand and image in the highest professional manner while seeking out new business opportunitiesIdentify prospective clients, seek out, and build relationships with key decision-makersUse proven sales process to uncover new opportunitiesWork with team members to develop proposals that speak to prospects pain or problemsUse proven sales techniques, negotiate through stalls, objections, and other buyer behavior to reach a decision quicklyAttend industry functions within the region and or state and stay aware of market trendsBe a thought out leader on current landscaping trends and practicesMaintain regular communication (face to face, phone, text, email) to ensure prompt and professional follow-up and follow-throughProvide proper instructions with new contracts for our service teams.
