The Renewable Energy Project Manager will oversee project scope, schedule, budget, client communication, team coordination, reporting, and overall project delivery for renewable energy projects across the U.S.ResponsibilitiesManage renewable energy land and right-of-way projects from kickoff through completionDevelop and maintain project scope, schedule, budget, milestones, staffing plans, and deliverablesServe as the primary point of contact for clients, project teams, landowners, subconsultants, and internal stakeholdersLead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including land agents, title, GIS, document management, survey, permitting, and environmental support teamsSupport site acquisition, lease acquisition, easement acquisition, landowner outreach, and land rights efforts for renewable energy projectsMonitor project progress and provide regular updates on schedule, budget, staffing, risks, deliverables, and overall project statusReview project documentation, landowner data, title materials, agreements, status maps, field reports, and project files for accuracy and completenessSupport contract administration, change orders, invoicing, reporting, and overall project financial performanceIdentify project risks, troubleshoot issues, and proactively recommend solutionsBuild and maintain strong client relationships while supporting future business opportunitiesCoordinate with internal and external teams to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on timeTravel to project sites, client meetings, or team meetings as neededSkills5+ years of project management experience supporting renewable energy, utility, land, right-of-way, or infrastructure projectsExperience managing land acquisition, lease acquisition, easements, landowner coordination, title, permitting, or related land project activitiesStrong understanding of project scope, schedule, budget, reporting, client communication, and team coordinationAbility to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience working with land agreements, option agreements, lease agreements, easements, access agreements, surface use agreements, or similar land-related documentsStrong communication, organization, problem-solving, and client relationship skillsRenewable energy project experience preferred, including solar, wind, battery storage, transmission, gen-tie, or substation projectsBachelor's degree in Business, Land Management, Energy Management, Environmental Studies, Land Planning, Real Estate, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be consideredIndustry certifications such as IRWA, SR/WA, AAPL, PMP, or related credentials are a plusSolar, wind, battery storage, transmission, substation, gen-tie, or other renewable energy infrastructure projectsLeading land acquisition or site acquisition teams across multi-parcel, multi-county, or multi-state projectsWorking knowledge of title, survey, GIS, permitting, environmental, landowner outreach, and document management workflowsExperience supporting early-stage renewable development, site control, due diligence, title curative, project controls, or construction supportExperience using project management or ERP systems such as Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Salesforce, LandGate, or similar platformsBenefitsGenerous Paid Time OffPaid Parental LeaveFlexible work schedules are available for some positionsTenure Awards — Travel Vouchers to see the world based on your travel preferencesCompetitive Compensation packagesAnnual bonuses, spot bonuses and peer recognition awards401K match - 1:1 up to 4% of compensationTuition AssistanceStudent Loan RepaymentPaid Licensing / Certification Fees and RenewalsFinancial Rewards for Obtaining LicensureEmployee ReferralsAnnual Wellness Reimbursement for anything wellness related (Gym memberships, fitness tracker, home gym equipment, etc.)Dependent Care MatchMedical (BC/BS), Dental (Delta), and Vision (VSP)Family Planning & IVF BenefitsPet InsuranceHealth Savings Account & Flex Spending Account optionsEmployer paid LTD, STD, and life insuranceMetlife Supplemental Benefits covering accident, hospitalization, and critical illnessMember Assistance Program (MAP) with complimentary counseling sessions, legal benefits, financial consultations, and work/life referral servicesCompany OverviewAtwell is a full-service consulting, engineering and construction services firm that delivers a broad range of creative solutions to clients in the real estate and land development, power and energy, and oil and gas markets.
