[Remote] Key Account Manager, Water Treatment

The Key Account Manager will support and expand industrial water treatment programs for customers in the Salt Lake City region, ensuring optimal performance of customer treatment programs and driving revenue retention and growth.ResponsibilitiesConduct routine testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting for cooling, boiler, and wastewater treatment systemsOptimize chemical programs to improve system performance, asset protection, and operational reliabilityTroubleshoot feed systems, pumps, controllers, and monitoring equipmentConduct audits, system surveys, and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvementBuild strong, longāterm relationships with operations, engineering, reliability, and procurement teamsIdentify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop valueādriven proposalsPresent technical reports, KPIs, business reviews, and program recommendations clearly and professionallyCollaborate with customers to address performance issues, implement corrective actions, and strengthen partnership valueManage account revenue, pricing execution, and contract performanceDeliver targeted growth through consultative selling and program expansionSupport inventory management, chemical ordering, and coordination of onāsite service requirementsPartner with internal Solenis teams to ensure timely delivery, high service quality, and customer satisfactionModel and reinforce Solenisā safety culture across all customer locationsEnsure compliance with customer safety protocols, environmental regulations, and Solenis standardsMaintain accurate and timely records of service activities, audit findings, and program performanceSkillsBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related fieldMust live within 45 minutes of Texas City, TX or be willing to relocateHave previous experience in Refineries/Industrial Water Treatment, especially boilers, cooling towers and waste waterPossess strong relationship management skills and be able to establish relationships at all levels of managementProven ability to manage customer relationships and deliver strong account retentionExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordBenefitsCompetitive health + wellness benefit planContinuous professional development with many opportunities for growth!Recharge with 15 days of paid time offCompetitive Salary and bonuses401k PlanCompany car for travel convenienceMedical, dental, vision & 401KNumerous opportunities for professional growth and developmentCompany OverviewSolenis is a producer of specialty chemicals for industrial water treatment operations.
