Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Festo is a leading supplier of automation technology and is seeking a Key Account Manager for the Semiconductor sector. The role involves managing and improving sales activities for national key accounts, building relationships with key decision-makers, and developing strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement account management strategies for key accountsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at major accountsUnderstand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction and loyaltyCollaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and service deliveryNegotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while meeting customer requirementsAnalyze customer needs and develop account management plan and coordinates the execution of the plans based on team sellingDevelop mid- and long-term strategies for these Key Accounts with respect to standardization of technology, customer relationship, customer specific product (development) etcResponsible for the achievement of agreed sales targets (budget etc.) of dedicated Key Account(s)Monitor turnover development and implement corrective actions, if required. Monitor account performance and develop action plans to address any issues or opportunitiesConduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance and identify growth opportunitiesNegotiations of local contracts and preparation, as well as implementation of international contractsManage and support international projects with this Key AccountEnsure maximum cooperation with and between the account teams involved, and with all other departments within Festo, nationally and internationallyStay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions affecting key accountsPrepare and present reports on account status, sales forecasts, and strategic initiatives to senior managementDefine and maintain all relevant tools like Mosaic, Share Points, Project data base etcDrives customer specific marketing activitiesAnalyze complete buying center and drives multi-level customer relationship managementSkillsAt least 5 years of relevant professional experienceUniversity Degree (engineering and/ or business studies; electrical engineering advantageous)Technical knowledgeKnowledge of productsKnowledge of customersKnowledge of market/industry segmentsKnowledge of Festo as a companyBusiness knowledgeManagement knowledge and a solid understanding of business practicesMS-Office, CRM-tools knowledge, SAPCommunication skillsNegotiating skillsWinning complex salesExperience in project management methods is advantageousExperience in industrial B2B salesManagement of sales processes, Key Account managementPostgraduate study in Technical Business or Business Administration is a plusBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Programs, Short-term and Long-term disability, 401k, Pet Insurance, Paid Holidays, Paid time off, Educational assistance and many more.Company OverviewFESTO is a privately owned German industrial control and automation company based in Esslingen am Neckar, Germany.
