The Key Account Manager, Product Assembly is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with strategic customers in the durable goods market, driving revenue growth and aligning customer objectives with the company's offerings.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic and multi-site customersDevelop and execute comprehensive account strategies aligned with customer goals and company growth objectivesBuild strong relationships with customer stakeholders at both plant and corporate levelsDrive revenue growth by expanding product, service, and solution adoption within existing customersIdentify opportunities to add new locations, applications, or service offeringsBuild and execute multi-year account growth plans focused on long-term partnershipsLead RFP, RFQ, and contract activities for assigned accountsPartner with internal teams to develop competitive pricing and value propositionsOversee contract execution, renewals, and expansion opportunitiesCoordinate efforts across sales, technical, service, and supplier teams to ensure consistent executionAlign field resources to deliver on customer commitmentsLead regular business reviews to communicate performance, value delivered, and future opportunities Support and adhere to all safety procedures and complete all required safety trainingIdentify and support improvement opportunities for processes to support company objectives and customer expectationsSkillsAssociate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of Key Account Management experience in an Industrial setting requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience selling into durable goods requiredProven experience managing and growing complex or multi-site customer accountsStrong background in strategic account management, sales, or business developmentExperience leading RFPs, contract negotiations, and customer growth initiativesAbility to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authorityMust have experience with adhesive technologies such as MMAs, epoxies, urethanes, silicones, MS polymer, sealants, UV cure, & cyanoacrylatesYou must have a growth-oriented mindset with strong business acumen, and excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsWe are looking for a strategic thinker with the ability to turn opportunities into executionYou must be self-motivated, organized, and comfortable owning outcomesMinimum of 8 years of sales experience preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental and Vision Benefits401k MatchFlexible and Team-Oriented work environmentGenerous PTO policyTuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance ProgramCareer and talent development opportunities as well as opportunities for personal growthCompany OverviewApplied Products is a chemicals firm that provides hot melt adhesives and hot melt dispensing equipment.
