[Remote] Key Account Manager - Fluid Power/Hydraulics

They are seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and grow customer accounts, build relationships, and drive revenue growth in military applications.ResponsibilitiesManage and grow assigned customer accounts across the United StatesBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing customersIdentify and develop new business opportunities within assigned accountsPromote a full product line of hydraulic, filtration, and fluid power solutionsIncrease sales revenue and profit margins within assigned accountsExecute the company's corporate sales strategyMaintain accurate and current CRM data, account notes, and customer filesProvide prompt follow-up and resolution to customer needs, questions, and communicationsSet sales goals, new business targets, and account objectivesReport on account activity, sales progress, customer needs, and market opportunitiesStay current on industry trends and serve as a resource to customers and internal leadershipMonitor competitor sales activity and market effortsPrepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations for customer meetingsParticipate in internal sales and marketing meetingsTravel regularly to visit current and prospective customers, including occasional overnight travelSkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferredAssociate degree, CFPS certification, or strong practical fluid power experience also consideredHydraulics, fluid power, or filtration experience strongly preferredMobile fluid power or industrial fluid power experience is a plusTechnical sales, key account management, account management, or customer-facing engineering support experience preferredStrong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skillsSelf-starting attitude with the ability to manage customer activity independentlyAbility to prepare and deliver effective customer presentationsStrong organization skills and attention to detail with CRM and customer documentationAbility to manage multiple projects and customer priorities at one timeWillingness to travel up to 50%BenefitsBase salary plus bonusStrong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, FSA, short-term disability, life insurance, and pet insuranceSupportive team environment with ongoing learning and personal development opportunitiesCompany OverviewDice is a job-searching platform for technology professionals.
