[Remote] Key Account Manager – Bobcat Footwear

SCL Footwear Group, founded nearly a decade ago in New York City, specializes in the production and distribution of men’s, women’s, and children’s footwear. They are seeking a Key Account Manager to drive sales growth, develop strategic retail partnerships, and expand distribution for the Bobcat Footwear brand.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and distribution goals for Bobcat FootwearManage and grow relationships with key accounts, including Farm & Fleet retailers, Outdoor retailers, and Workwear/Safety footwear retailersIdentify and secure new business opportunities across national and regional retail accountsCollaborate with product development, marketing, and operations teams to support customer needs and maximize sales opportunitiesConduct regular business reviews with retail partners and provide market insights to senior leadershipAnalyze sales trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunitiesAttend industry trade shows, customer meetings, and sales events as requiredManage sales forecasts, budgets, and account performance metricsSkills8+ years of successful sales experience in the footwear industryProven experience selling work and safety footwear productsEstablished relationships with Farm & Fleet retailers and Outdoor retailersDemonstrated success managing national and regional retail accountsStrong understanding of the workwear, industrial, safety, and outdoor marketsExperience developing and executing strategic sales plansStrong negotiation and presentation skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesResults-driven with a proven track record of exceeding sales targetsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales reporting toolsAbility to travel up to 50% as required for customer meetings, trade shows, and business development activitiesExisting relationships with key retailers such as Tractor Supply, Fleet Farm, Blain's Farm & Fleet, Rural King, Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's, Sportsman's Warehouse, and similar accountsExperience working with private label and branded footwear programsKnowledge of safety footwear standards and industry trendsCompany OverviewSCL Footwear Group designs, manufactures, and distributes licensed footwear for global consumer brands.
