They are seeking a Key Account Manager to lead strategic account management, expand customer relationships, and identify business opportunities within major Life Sciences customers, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic account plans that align with growth targets and global account strategiesCollaborate with regional sales teams to ensure consistent customer engagement and replicate successful business cases across locationsIdentify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities across pharma, biotech, genomics, proteomics, and advanced imaging applicationsDrive yearâoverâyear revenue growth by expanding share of wallet and pursuing singleâsource supply opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with scientists, facilities teams, procurement leaders, and OEM decision makersCapture and communicate Voice of Customer insights to guide product development and customer strategiesLeverage understanding of Life Sciences workflowsâsuch as microscopy, imaging, spectroscopy, cell analysis, and precision instrumentationâto support designâin effortsPartner with Applications Engineering, R&D, and Product Management to ensure solutions meet evolving customer and market needsAnalyze account performance, competitive trends, pricing, and market activity to support strategic decisionâmakingManage opportunities and track global account performance using CRM systemsPresent monthly executive summaries outlining YTD performance, forecasts, opportunities, customer issues, and actionâplan progressCollaborate with sales, engineering, operations, and service teams to deliver a seamless customer experienceEnsure compliance with AMETEK business processes, Terms & Conditions, regulatory standards, and applicable export control requirementsSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Business, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of sales or salesârelated experience in a technologyâfocused organizationStrong understanding of Life Sciences workflows, instrumentation, and market dynamicsAbility to manage complex, multiâsite global accountsExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationshipâbuilding skillsStrong strategic and analytical thinking abilitiesProficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)Ability to travel 25%â33%, including internationallyExperience in Life Sciences, electron microscopy, biotech/pharma instrumentation, precision equipment, semiconductor, or vibration controlExperience in key account management and business developmentProject management experienceCompany OverviewAMETEK is a manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices.
