This role is designed for individuals who can seamlessly step into classrooms for K-8 students in English or Spanish language immersion programs, ensuring an uninterrupted and engaging educational experience.
Key Responsibilities
Ā Arrive and check in with the Front Desk or Administrative Assistant upon entering the school premises.
Ā Maintain the continuity of daily classroom routines and foster an organized, positive learning environment.
Ā Implement the lesson plans laid out by the regular teacher to deliver consistent instruction.
Ā Supervise student activities and behavior, ensuring adherence to school conduct standards.
Ā Keep accurate records, including attendance and other essential documentation.
Ā Comply with all school policies, procedures, and standards relevant to regular teaching staff.
Ā Utilize remote learning tools such as Google Classroom, Zoom, and other platforms as required.
Ā Communicate effectively with the classroom teacher and school administration regarding student progress and any arising concerns.
Ā Execute additional duties as assigned by school administration.
Required Skills
Ā Proven ability to manage classroom dynamics and engage students across various age ranges.
Ā Exceptional communication and organizational capabilities.
Ā Flexibility and adaptability to teach various subjects and languages.
