[Remote] Jury Consultant

Magna Legal Services provides end-to-end legal support services to law firms, corporations, and governmental agencies throughout the nation. They are seeking a Jury Consultant to perform tasks associated with jury-related litigation consulting, including mock trials, jury selection, and community attitude surveys.ResponsibilitiesPerform all tasks associated with jury related litigation consultingMock trials/focus group moderation, online jury research, shadow juries, jury selection, community attitude surveys, witness prep, voir dire, demographic profiling, reporting and other related litigation consulting servicesWork collaboratively with research team and clientsWork hand in hand with sales team to close deals for jury consulting related projectsTake ownership of projects from intake to deliveryPerforming research and confident consulting, such as making strategic recommendations to clientsMock trials/focus group moderation, online jury research, community attitude surveys, witness prep, voir dire, demographic profiling, reporting, etcShadow juries, jury selection, juror social media/public records research, trial monitoring, strategic consulting, visual communication consulting, etcSkillsGraduate degree (Ph.D. and/or Master's) in psychology or related field (i.e., neuroscience, communication, etc.) and/or J.DMinimum of 5 years' experience in the field for senior-level consultant positionUnderstanding of reliable research methodsInsight into human behavior, motivation, and decision-making heuristicsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExceptional writing, speaking, and presentation skillsExperience in performing research and confident consultingAbility to make strategic recommendations to clientsExceptional abilities in qualitative and quantitative analysisKnowledge of social science research methodologyFirm understanding of the civil legal process, procedures, and terminologyClient development skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with analytical software (such as SPSS)General understanding of presentation technologyCompany OverviewMagna Legal Services is a legal services company specializing in legal support services.
