Sony Electronics Inc. is looking for a results-driven Account Manager to grow revenue for their cloud-based media management and collaboration platform. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, engaging with stakeholders, and driving customer engagement in the media, entertainment, and sports sectors.ResponsibilitiesOwn and close new business opportunities with ACVs ranging from $15K to $500K+Manage a balanced mix of inbound leads and outbound prospectingRun efficient sales cycles for smaller deals (~30 days) while managing longer enterprise cycles (~6-12 months)Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue using CRM toolsConduct discovery calls to understand customer workflows, technical requirements, and buying criteriaPresent and demo solutions to creative, operations, IT, and executive stakeholdersBuild business cases and ROI narratives tailored to media & entertainment use casesNegotiate pricing, contracts, and close deals in collaboration with leadershipIdentify and pursue target accounts in media, entertainment, and sportsDevelop outbound strategies across email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry eventsBuild long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencersPartner with marketing on lead quality and campaign feedbackWork with customer success and product teams to ensure smooth handoffs and customer satisfactionShare market and customer insights to influence product roadmap and positioningSkills3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in media, entertainment, sports, or adjacent industriesProven experience closing both transactional and enterprise dealsComfort owning the full sales cycle, including outbound prospectingExperience selling to creative, production, post-production, broadcast, or IT teams is a strong plusStrong discovery, qualification, and consultative selling skillsAbility to manage multiple deals at different stages and sizes simultaneouslyConfident presenter to both technical and non-technical audiencesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)Self-motivated and comfortable working remotelyOrganized, detail-oriented, and strong at follow-throughCurious about customer workflows and technologyTeam-oriented with a low-ego, high-ownership mindsetBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experienceExperience selling cloud solutionsProven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving quota targetsExperience working collaboratively with customer success and marketingBenefitsHealthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision)Paid medical leaveA 401k plan with matching company contributionsVacation timeEducation assistanceStudent loan assistance programEighty hours of paid sick leave time annuallyUp to twelve weeks paid parental leaveCompany OverviewWE ARE SONY Our spirit of innovation and challenge has created those special moments that make people say ‘wow’.
