[Remote] Junior Project Manager

They are seeking a Junior Project Manager to lead moderately complex federal projects and ensure successful delivery of program objectives while fostering strong customer relationships.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage delivery activities across one or more federal task orders, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with customer expectationsServe as the primary point of contact for assigned deliverables, coordinating efforts across internal teams, stakeholders, and federal customersSupport strategic business process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and delivery effectivenessContributes to the development and maintenance of project schedules, cost frameworks, status reporting, and documentation for current and future federal programsCollaborate closely with the Deliverables Manager, Program Leads, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverable expectationsDevelop and maintain ad hoc reports, dashboards, and tracking documentation to support internal reviews and ensure federal compliance requirements are metMonitor project risks, identify potential issues proactively, and implement mitigation strategies to support successful program executionFacilitate effective communication between stakeholders, leadership, and project teams to ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment throughout the project lifecycleSupport continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices across program management operationsSkillsBachelor's degree required; degree in Business, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferredMinimum of 2+ years of experience in project management, program management, or business operations supportUnderstanding project and program management principles, methodologies, and industry best practicesStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience interacting with customers and cross-functional teamsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project tracking tools, and reporting platformsPMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or other project management certification is a plusExperience with federal compliance reporting and contract deliverable managementFamiliarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologiesCompany OverviewRockITdata is an IT firm that offers AWS consultation, data integration, cloud computing and staffing services.
