Remote Junior Bookkeeper | Finance Role
Job Overview
We are in search of a meticulous and responsible Junior Bookkeeper to become a vital member of our dynamic finance team. This remote position offers the opportunity to support key financial processes, including customer billing, vendor payments, and month-end accounting functions, while collaborating closely with our Controller and Accounting Team.
Key Responsibilities
Ā Generate and submit daily invoices for Fresh and Frozen Seafood orders.
Ā Ensure the seamless processing of invoices via customer portals.
Ā Accurately match purchase orders to vendor invoices and verify the receipt of goods and payment accuracy, addressing discrepancies when necessary.
Ā Assist the Sales Management team by reviewing invoiced gross margin reports.
Ā Manage customer credit/billback processes effectively.
Ā Organize and enter Accounts Payable (A/P) bills as required.
Ā Confirm that all discretionary invoices obtain approval from department managers.
Ā Maintain precise vendor records and an organized filing system.
Ā Aid in reconciling storage bills with inventory prior to processing payments.
Ā Participate in special projects as needed.
Ā Process customer sales orders for billing once shipping documentation is received.
Ā Contribute to the accounting month-end close activities.
