Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers is a rapidly growing national insurance brokerage firm. They are looking to build a pipeline of experienced Account Managers for their Commercial Lines department, focusing on providing excellent service to clients and supporting company growth.ResponsibilitiesWork with Account Executive and/or Department Lead for guidance and training on all aspects of servicing clientsPrepare company submissions for new/renewal business, market as appropriate, and prepare proposalsPrepare all change requests and review audits and policies for accuracySet up and prepare new account files in account management system per agency proceduresInvoice all agency bill transactions within 48 hours and collect premiums accordinglyNotify producer of any unpaid audits in a timely manner and request appropriate actions be made according to carrier audit guidelines and timeframeReview all renewals with the producer at least 120 days prior to expiration to determine marketing strategiesPrepare and process cancellations when required and follow up on notices of cancellations per agency proceduresRespond to all carrier memos and process any necessary updatesPrepare and process client requests, including ID cards, evidence of property, certificates of insurance, and bindersReview policies and related documents for accuracy and deliver policies to insureds as neededWork with producers to evaluate exposure, negotiate and interpret coverage, and review with clients as neededEvaluate and recommend additional coverage based on client needs. Quote/propose as appropriateKeep producers fully informed of all important activities on their accountsReview monthly reports- Aged Receivable, renewal/expirations, and Suspense reports in a timely mannerService Company and clients in a manner to avoid potential exposure to E&O claimsAlert management of incidents that may require management assistance or approvalRespond to phone calls and e-mails within an acceptable timeframe not to exceed 24 hoursProcess client requests (e.g. ID cards, certs, binders) within 24 hours of requestMaintain current, consistent, detailed documentation on all client activity, phone conversations, and correspondence in the account management systemUtilize account management system suspense system to follow up on outstanding items in a timely manner to avoid overdue situationsPrioritize workload and request assistance as necessary to reduce backlogParticipate with management and other departments/personnel on special projects and other duties as neededKeep current on rates, forms and coverage changes through bulletins, trade publications, and seminarsParticipate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge developmentSkills3+ years' experience in commercial lines insuranceEducation requirement: High school diploma or equivalent is required, college degree preferredActive DOI P&C License requiredProfessional designation is a plusKnowledge of AMS360 OR Epic system or similar agency management systemGood listening skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essentialKnowledge of commercial insurance and productsLocated in Pacific or Mountain Time ZonesApplying for future considerationBenefitsCompetitive compensationA robust benefits packagePaid time offHoliday payContinued education supportCompany-sponsored programs to promote stress management and community involvementCompany OverviewThe Liberty Company Insurance Brokers is an independently owned insurance broker handling the commercial, personal and employee benefits insurance needs of businesses, non-profits, and individuals for more than 35 years.
