Remote Job: AWS Cloud Engineer (Windows Server)

DBHDS - Cloud Engineer 2 /Server Admin Must pick up equipment in person This is a hybrid role with 80% Cloud Engineering duties and 20% Server Admin responsibilities. Pls make sure you are communicating this to your candidate, so no surprises should they be selected for an interview. • Qualifications: • Intermediate proficiency specifically with the AWS Cloud Platform and familiarity with standard software engineering industry best practices. • Strong experience implementing full-stack web applications leveraging React, Node.js, TypeScript on the front-end, and implementing serverless back-end APIs leveraging AWS Lambda and NoSQL databases (eg. AWS DynamoDB). • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js). • Solid understanding of version control (e.g. Git), DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and build relationships with stakeholders. • Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated on tech trends. Additional Considerations • Experience in on-prem (Windows Server), cloud and hybrid infrastructure, with a focus on delivering scalable, resilient, and secure solutions. • Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Developer - Associate level) • Microsoft Server Engineer certifications Required/Desired Skills Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience Windows Server Administration (Server 2019 & Server 2022). Required 10 Years Intermediate proficiency specifically with the AWS Cloud Platform and familiarity with standard software engineering industry best practices. Required 5 Years Strong experience implementing full-stack web applications leveraging React, Node.js, TypeScript on the front-end, and implementing serverless back-en Required 5 Years Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Node.js).
